Huddie Ledbutter, better known as Lead Belly died when he was 61. Now, for normal people, 61 isn't a great innings really. What with all of our technical advances surrounding medical care and diet, we are living to get older and older. However, if you choose to sing the blues for a living, 61 is fucking ancient.
